Celebrate Christmas with Us!

Come Celebrate the Season with Us!

We are busy at Christmas time – join us for some really fun and heart-warming events starting the week of December 20th.

Live Nativity!

Each evening (6-8 pm) from Tuesday, Dec 20 through Thursday Dec 22, we’ll enact the first Christmas out on the church lawn. Stop by and adore the newborn Christ with us – or get to know some of your neighbors better over a cup of hot cider!

Longest Night Worship Service

Wednesday, December 21, 8 pm. Christmas is a time of cheer and light – but it can also be hard for those who have lost loved ones, or are struggling with life. If this sounds familiar – this service is for you. We’ll gather for a special time of prayer and Holy Communion as we look for the Light of the World on the longest night of the year.

Christmas Eve Candlelight Service

Saturday, December 24th, 6pm. Join us as we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ! We’ll tell the Christmas story, hear some wonderful Christmas music, and light a candle and sing Silent Night. This is a family-friendly service (as all of our services are!) and there will be a special gift for each family that attends!

Christmas Day Celebration

Sunday, December 25th, beginning at 9 am. Spend Christmas with Christ! On Christmas Morning, we’ll start with a covered dish Christmas Breakfast (bring your specialties to share!) and gather for a special super-casual Christmas Day worship service at 10 am. Feel free to wear your pajamas!

A New Year! A New Start!

Start the year off right! On January 1st, we’ll worship as we normally do at 11 am (Sunday School at 10 am). We’ll continue in our celebration of the Christmas Season (it is 12 days, after all!) and reflect on what we can do to carry the meaning and Spirit of Christmas throughout the whole year.

We’re Hiring!

Aragon UMC is looking for a new Music Director! Check out the “Our Staff” page for more information and to learn how to apply!

Homecoming 2011!

Join us on Oct 9 at 11:00 am for a celebration of ministry at Aragon UMC! For 110 years we have been faithfully worshiping God and serving our neighbors. Come and enjoy a great time of fellowship and memory sharing, music by local favorites The Gentrys, and hear the message preached by Rev. Michael Williams. A covered dish supper will follow the service – you won’t want to miss this special Sunday!
